One last look at our summer 2001 route

I’ve said about all I can at this point, but I thought one big visual would be helpful. Not everyone closes their eyes and sees a map when directions are explained. So here’s our full route. While we were driving twenty years ago, we highlighted our route on the national map, but also on the state map pages, where more specifics can be seen. That atlas sat in the trunks of several of my cars before I finally tossed it twelve or so years ago. In order to recreate the highlighted route, I went out and got the only used atlas I could find. You may not be surprised to hear I’ve done the state maps, as well.
